Who is responsible

What we collect if you play without an account

• A random code created on your device to keep your progress and streak. It does not identify you.
• Your games: case played, accusation answers, points, questions used and time.
• The name you choose for the leaderboard, if any.
• Usage: visits, game starts, shares and channel clicks, with where the visit came from and who sent you a challenge link, if anyone.
• Country and device type. The country is provided by our hosting provider; we do not store your IP address.

What we collect if you create an account

• Your email and a user ID, provided by our sign-in service (Supabase) when you sign in with Google or an email link.
• With Google we only use your email. We do not access your contacts or any other account data.

Case suggestions

If you send us a story, we keep the text, the name for credit and whether you allowed credit. Please don't include other people's personal data.

Payments

When subscriptions or packs exist, payments will be processed by Mercado Pago. We never receive or store card details.

What we use it for

• Running the game: progress, accusations, leaderboards and challenges.
• Understanding what works and improving cases, using aggregated numbers.
• Preventing abuse, such as automated submissions.
• Crediting suggested cases, when you allow it.
• Sending you news by email, only if you tick that option. You can unsubscribe anytime.

We do not sell your data or use it for targeted advertising.

Storage on your device

We use your browser's local storage for progress, streak, language and sign-in session. We do not use tracking cookies. If we show ads in the future, we will update this policy and ask for consent where the law requires it.

Who we share with

• Cloudflare: website and game database hosting.
• Supabase: sign-in and accounts.
• Google: only if you choose to sign in with Google.
• Mercado Pago: only for payments.

Your leaderboard name and points are visible to other players.

How long

We keep account data while the account exists. Usage data without an account is kept without identifying you and may remain in aggregated statistics.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, portability or to withdraw consent at any time by writing to contato@playfuncrime.com. We reply within 15 days.

Children

The game is intended for ages 13 and up. Minors should only create an account or make purchases with a parent's or guardian's permission.

Changes

If this policy changes in an important way, we will announce it on the site.
